WHAT IS POWDER COATING?

Unlike traditional painting methods, powder coating is applied electrostatically onto a metal surface. In this case, your wheel is sprayed with negatively charged powder particles. Since your wheel is grounded, these negatively charged particles stick to your wheel and create a thin layer over your wheel. Your wheel is then placed in an oven to cure or "Bake" for a specific amount of time. After that, the powder melts into an even and unfirm film, which when cooled, cures and forms a hard coating.
